How does it cool without water or electricity?
The surface is a cool-to-touch ice-silk fabric that draws heat off your dog on contact, while a breathable mesh base vents that heat out the sides. Nothing to plug or freeze.
Isn't it just another gel mat?
No — and that's the point. Other gel mats trap heat and stop working after about half an hour, and a punctured one leaks. Ours keeps giving your dog a cool spot to return to all day.
Is it safe for puppies and chewers?
Yes. It's made from non-toxic, pet-safe materials. However for very heavy chewers we would recommend supervision
How do I clean it?
Cold gentle machine wash, air-dry flat. The cooling effect lasts wash after wash.
Will it actually help on hot days?
It gives your dog a cool surface to escape to so they can settle instead of panting and pacing. It's a comfort tool, not a substitute for shade, fresh water and staying out of extreme heat — in a heat emergency, always call your vet.
